It’s your chance to participate in September Ovarian Cancer month! It’s the 3rd Annual “86 Ovarian Cancer Restaurant Relay!” Our mission is to raise monies for Ovarian Cancer Research and Awareness- monies donated to COCA Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance.

86 Ovarian Cancer Restaurant Relay is on September 21st, 2013 at Historic Park on Main St. in Frisco Co.; teams of two will be racing through downtown Frisco with variety of tasks at each stop at our very own local businesses. Following the relay excitement, the festivities will include live music, scrumptious food, ice cold beverages, cancer awareness information booth, silent auction, and more! We will also be presenting awards and prizes throughout the day.

We are respectfully requesting your support of this worthwhile event by being a sponsor, recruiting a team to participate in the relay, or by donating a silent auction basket. Any option is greatly appreciated

  1. Be a Sponsor!  Contributions over $100 will earn you event acknowledgment. Contribution over $250 will earn you website and event advertisement. Contributions over $500 will earn you/your company logo on our event T-shirt, website and event advertisement.
  2. Recruit a team!  To participate in the relay you need team of 2. You can either sponsor a team or recruit your own. Registration is $100 a team. You are invited to create your own “theme” for your team as you race downtown Frisco in the Restaurant Relay. This is a great opportunity to represent your company’s support in this event.
  3. Silent Auction Basket!  If you would like to contribute by donating a basket for our silent Auction, please also use the attached form and contact information to schedule a pick up.  We can also supply basket if requested.

Event sponsored by our very own local restaurant; THE LOG CABIN, member of Colorado Restaurant Association Summit County Chapter, owners Wendy Salazar and Michelle McDonald have dedicated themselves to raise money for awareness, research and cure of this terrible disease. Wendy’s mom was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in 2007, and has continued fighting this battle. Wendy, amazed at the strength her mom continues to have says “it was my mom who gave me the strength to follow my dream of owning a restaurant. Her will to survive and her very positive attitude, strength, courage made me persue my dreams. I’ve never met a women so strong, who gave me the motivation to make my dreams come true! Now I want to give back!”
